About These Aspen Dipped Leaf Ornaments
Dipping and plating these Aspen Dipped Leaf Ornaments in metal for preservation is a special process called electroform. In this process, micro-thin layers of adhesive material, copper, and nickel, are gently applied to each leaf over a period of several days by a skilled craftsman. During the final stage of this process, each leaf is dipped a final time to create a gold, silver, or iridescent copper ornament.
Since these are crafted from real Aspen leaves and not cast from molds, you can be confident that each gold, silver, or copper Christmas ornament you purchase will be utterly unique. Due to this natural variation, pricing for these and all of our natural ornaments has been based on an average size. | |
