About This Mistletoe Ornaments
This Mistletoe Ornament is not cast from a mold; it is a real sprig of mistletoe that has been preserved though a unique process known as electroform. During this procedure, an artisan selects and prunes a mistletoe sprig which is then coated in a proprietary chemical solution. This solution enables the surface of the mistletoe to bind with almost microscopic layers of copper and nickel that are added over several days. To create the final Mistletoe Ornaments featured at BridesVillage, a layer of gold, silver, or iridescent copper is added to give each ornament a brilliant, lasting finish.
These Mistletoe Christmas Ornaments are true products of nature so there will always be variations in size and shape. We price our ornaments based on the average dimensions of these sprigs.
