Sea Shell Ornaments



Take a journey under the sea this holiday season with our striking Sea Shell Ornaments. Each is a real sea shell lovingly preserved in 24k Gold or Silver, allowing you to explore every delicate curve, and marvel at the beauty of all things nautical. Sold individually.

Seashell Ornaments preserved in Silver may tarnish over time, but can easily be cleaned with Tarnx or a similar product. For storage, wrap ornament in tissue paper and seal in a plastic baggie.

Each ornament is priced as followed:
  • Strombus: bulbous, spiraled shell: $13.55
  • Turitella: long, thin conic shell: $18.55

The process of plating our Seashell Ornaments in gold is called electroform. A special solution is applied to the shell that allows it to be plated in copper, nickel and finally gold. It is a very time consuming, tedious process that takes five days from beginning to end.

Since our Seashell Ornaments are real items of nature, there will be some natural variation in size and shape; ornaments are priced based on average size. These are not molds, so they will not look exactly the same. Each Seashell Ornament is unique!
