Oak Leaf Ornaments preserved in Silver may tarnish over time, but can easily be cleaned with Tarnx or a similar product. For storage, wrap ornament in tissue paper and seal in a plastic baggie.

The process of plating our Oak Leaf Ornaments in gold is called electroform. A special solution is applied to the leaf that allows it to be plated in copper, nickel and finally gold. It is a very time consuming, tedious process that takes five days from beginning to end.
Since our Oak Leaf Ornaments are real items of nature, there will be some natural variation in size and shape; ornaments are priced based on average size. These are not molds, so they will not look exactly the same. Each Oak Ornament is unique! |
